Zach Meza has a solid background in software engineering, particularly in the field of satellite operations. Zach started their career as a Software Development Intern at APX Labs in 2015. Later, they joined OneWeb in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they played a crucial role in developing cutting-edge software for satellite operations, including mission planning automation and business process automation. During their time at OneWeb, they gained expertise in technologies such as Java, MongoDB, ActiveMQ, RPC, Docker, as well as Java, Python, BPMN (Flowable), MySQL, ActiveMQ, and Docker for business process automation. In 2020, Zach joined Metrea Orbital Effects as a Senior Development Engineer, where they led a team in developing satellite operations software from scratch and automating the operations process for a Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite. This automation allowed for secure remote operations and lights-out operations outside of work hours. Currently, Zach is Head of Engineering and Co-Founder at Quindar, where they are designing and developing a cutting-edge platform for satellite operations. The platform utilizes technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript to provide customers with a modern and performant user experience.
Zach Meza attended Stanford University from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Computer Science. Zach obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the field.
