Alyson Steele began their work experience in 1989 as a Team Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. In 1993, they worked as an Architectural Intern at The Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. In 1997, they joined Quinn Evans | Architects as an Architect.

Alyson Steele has an education history that includes a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree from the University of Virginia. Alyson attended the university from 1991 to 1994, studying architecture. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Stanford University. Alyson attended Stanford from 1985 to 1989.
