Richard Ross

Richard Ross has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Richard currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Quinn Residences, a position they assumed in July 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of President and CFO at the same company since February 2020.

Ross has also served as an Independent Director at Cedar Realty Trust, Inc. from April 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they held a similar role as an Independent Director at Independence Realty Trust Inc. from September 2015 to May 2020.

In terms of executive positions, Ross worked at Branch Properties LLC, where they held the position of Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer from January 2016 to February 2020. Richard also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Branch Properties, LLC from April 1998 to December 2010.

Ross has experience in the real estate investment trust sector, having served as the Chief Executive Officer of Trade Street Residential, Inc. from February 2014 to September 2015. Prior to this role, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer at the same company from August 2013 to February 2014.

Furthermore, Ross founded and operated their own consulting firm, Chiron Consulting, LLC, from January 2011 to August 2013. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Gearon Communications from April 1997 to April 1998.

Richard Ross earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1976 to 1981. In 1983, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the state of Georgia. Later, in 1987, they attended the College for Financial Planning to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with a focus on Personal Financial Planning. Richard also holds additional certifications, including CERT - Certified Cybersecurity Oversight from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained in October 2019.
