Sam Edwards is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in legal studies and environmental law. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Legal Studies at Quinnipiac University since August 2019, Sam previously held roles at Green Mountain College as Professor of Environmental Law and Policy and Director of the Animal Conservation and Care Program from August 2007 to June 2019. Other notable positions include a Visiting Professor of Law at Thammasat University in 2013 and various roles at Green Mountain College and Nagoya University from 2000 to 2013. Sam holds an LLM in International Environmental Law from Nagoya University and a JD in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, complemented by a BA in Biology and Public Policy from Pomona College.
