Joseph Wortmann

Joseph Wortmann has extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 2022 to present, they have been a Co-Founder at EchoStream. From 2017 to present, they have been Co-Owner, CTO, and CIO at QuiNovas, where they are responsible for technology identification and inclusion into QuiNovas best-practices. From 2016 to 2017, they were CTO at IllumiCare, Inc., where they were responsible for leading the Software Engineering, DevOps, Compliance, Security and Onboarding Operations of the company. From 2013 to 2015, they were Vice President Operations at YourCareUniverse, where they were responsible for leading the services operations team and the technical operations team. From 2011 to 2013, they were Director of Sales, Central Region at Acuo Technologies, where they delivered $13MM on a $9MM quota and the largest private-sector deal to date in the VNA market. From 2007 to 2008, they were Managing Member and Founder at The Iron Door Company, a distributor and wholesaler of wrought iron residential doors, windows, fencing and balconies. From 2008 to 2010, they were Owner at Cogitavi. From 2010 to 2011, they were Software Engineer at Acuitec, where they built a large pre-operation assessment application for the iPad and implemented CRM for tracking and measuring sales and marketing efforts. From 2010 to 2011, they were President at Zoobal, where they were responsible for leading a small team in the initial creation of the product platform, building the operations team, and managing their funding raise. Finally, from 2006 to 2007, they were Senior Vice President and Co-Founder at ComFrame Software Corporation, where they were responsible for the creation and executive management of a new business unit dedicated to the delivery of business solutions in the areas of finance, operations and human resources.

Joseph Wortmann obtained a BS in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1987 and 1991. Joseph then went on to obtain an MS in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 1999 and 2002. In 2005, they earned an EMS in Management of Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
