Jonathan Gutierrez began their work experience in 2015 as a Technical Writer at CompPartners Inc., where they edited workers' compensation cases and completed them within deadlines. In 2017, they took on the role of Marketing and Public Relations Intern at MemorialCare, where they created marketing collateral, pitched events to the media, and managed social media content. Jonathan also worked as a Freelance Writer at SLS Consulting Inc. during this time. In 2017, they joined Organic By Nature Inc. and held positions such as Copywriter, Senior Writer/Editor, and Communications Specialist, contributing to various writing and communication projects. In 2023, Jonathan Gutierrez joined QuinStreet as a Copy Manager.

Jonathan Gutierrez earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, and Rhetoric and Composition from California State University, Long Beach. Jonathan attended the university from 2010 to 2014.
