Zachary Zaro

Zachary Zaro is the current Chief Technical Officer at Quip. Zachary has also previously served as the Chief Technical Officer at Maven Clinic and as a Director of Product Management at Percolate Inc.

A web programmer and computer tinkerer by trade, Zachary has always been interested in how technology can be used to improve people's lives. This led him to pursue a career in product management, where they could use their skills and knowledge to help create products that people would love.

At Quip, Zachary is responsible for leading the technical team and overseeing all aspects of the company's technology. Zachary is passionate about building Quip into a platform that helps people work smarter, faster, and better.

Prior to Quip, Zachary was the Chief Technical Officer at Maven Clinic, a healthcare company focused on building a marketplace to give women better access to care. Zachary oversaw all aspects of the company's technology, including the development of the iOS app.

Before Maven, Zachary was a Director of Product Management at Percolate Inc., where they collaborated with everyone from designers and engineers to client solutions and sales in order to drive effective product iteration. Technologies they worked with during their time at Percolate include: AWS, Heroku, Google Appengine, Python, Django, MySQL, Ruby, RabbitMQ, iOS, and Java (Android).

Zachary Zaro attended Hackley School for their high school education and then went on to Colgate University where they earned a B.S. in Philosophy and Political Science.

Zachary Zaro reports to Kevin Gibbs, CEO & co-Founder. They are on a team with Lindsey Simon - VP, Software Engineering, Minh Dang - VP, Software Engineering, and Imran Patel - Head of Business Development.
