Distinguished Engineer at Quipu

Albert Bellonch has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2008. Albert began their career as a Junior Java/J2EE Engineer at Agilogy in 2008. In 2011, they joined itnig as a Partner, CTO, Board Member, and Software Engineer. In 2013, they founded Quipu, a cloud-based financial management and billing software for startups and freelancers, and held the roles of Distinguished Engineer, CTO, and VP of Engineering. Finally, in 2014, they joined Ironhack as a Mentor and Teacher.

Albert Bellonch has a long history of education in the fields of computer science and wine steward/sommelier. In 2005 they began their education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they earned their M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT Engineering in 2011. Albert then went on to study at the Politecnico di Torino, earning their second M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT Engineering in 2011. In 2019, they enrolled at ESHOB (Escola Superior d'Hostaleria de Barcelona) and completed their Enologia i Tast, Nivell I program in 2020. Albert is currently enrolled at ESHOB and is expected to complete their Sommelier program in 2022.
