Dennis Hernandez

Dennis Hernandez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Dennis is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology / CIO at Quirch Foods since April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Partner at Fortium Partners, a global technology leadership provider, from September 2021 to April 2022.

Prior to their role at Fortium Partners, Dennis was a Board Member & Corporate Secretary at DWH Business Services, Inc. from February 2020 to October 2021.

During their time at Sysco from June 2013 to June 2019, Dennis held two positions. Firstly, as Vice President, Corporate Functions Technology & Technology Operations, they led the implementation of cloud and mobile technologies in finance and human resources, transforming the technology function through Agile and DevOps practices. Secondly, as Vice President, Sales & Marketing Technologies, they contributed to sales strategy and implemented a digital e-commerce platform.

From January 2011 to March 2013, Dennis worked at SUPERVALU as the Group Vice President, IT Enterprise Services. In this role, they transformed the IT enterprise services function and achieved significant cost savings through outsourcing.

Before SUPERVALU, they worked at Cadbury plc. from September 2004 to December 2010, where they held various Vice President-level roles. Dennis led the technical separation program and provided transitional IT services for the Australian Beverages Separation project. Dennis also headed global IT management services, IT performance management, and IT business operations.

From March 2000 to June 2004, Dennis was a Principal at A.T. Kearney, where they sold and delivered enterprise transformation efforts. Dennis managed cost reduction programs and implemented offshoring, process standardization, and automation initiatives.

Lastly, Dennis started their career at Booz Allen Hamilton in July 1989. During their time there, they held several roles, including Principal and Senior Associate in the Strategic Information Technology Practice for Latin America. Dennis developed a customer base, led market assessments, and managed major engagements in various industries.

Dennis Hernandez completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Latin American Literature at Harvard University from 1983 to 1987. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems and Finance at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1987 to 1989.
