Haris Botić

Haris Botić has a diverse work experience in software engineering, primarily focused on back-end development. Haris started their career in 2014 as a Backend Engineer at HUB387, where they developed and maintained a custom PHP framework for startups. In 2015, they worked as a Backend Engineer at Upwork, earning a "Top Rated" badge on the platform.

In 2016, Haris joined Knowlead as a Backend Engineer, contributing to open source repositories and working on the design and development of an e-learning platform. Haris also competed in the finals of Microsoft's Imagine Cup competition.

From 2017 to 2018, Haris worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Toptal, leading the development of a component-based React library and gaining experience with diverse clients and challenges. During the same period, they also worked as a Back End Engineer at livetree, leading a remote team of software engineers and participating in the screening and interview process for new developers.

In 2019, Haris co-founded Tayra and worked as a Co-Founder and Back End Engineer. Haris performed full product development, prototyping, user interviews, market research, and client acquisition. Haris also helped secure a Seed round of funding from a top early-stage VC in Europe.

From 2021 to 2022, Haris worked at Vault Health in two roles. First, as a Full Stack Engineer, they contributed to the development of a patient portal and a telehealth platform. Later, they took on the role of Technical Team Leader, leading a team of software engineers and making significant contributions to the company's scalability, including the development of an Automated Release Validation tool.

Most recently, in 2023, Haris joined Quix as a Back End Engineer, specializing in Python.

Haris Botić pursued their education in the field of Information Technology at the Information Technologies Department of International Burch University from 2015 to 2018. During this period, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
