Leanne Melnyk

Leanne Melnyk has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles.

In their most recent position at Quizrr, they serve as the Head of Impact & Partnerships, starting in February 2023.

Prior to that, Leanne was employed by Diginex as the Head of Global Supply Chains from August 2020 to February 2023.

From 2017 to 2020, Leanne worked at Fung Group as the Vice President of Sustainability. Fung Group is a privately-held business entity based in Hong Kong.

Leanne had previously held the role of Partnerships Officer at Better Work, a partnership between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and International Finance Corporation (IFC), where they advised on the design of the Better Work Global Strategy from 2015 to 2017.

At the International Labour Organization, Leanne held the position of Technical Officer from 2009 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the Asia Regional Portfolio on core labour standards and managed the global component of the "Work in Freedom" program.

Early in their career, Leanne gained legal experience as a Summer Student at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in 2009, working on various corporate matters. Leanne also worked as a Student Researcher at the Law Commission of Ontario from 2008 to 2009 and had a previous stint as a Summer Student at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in 2008.

In 2007, Leanne briefly served as a Junior Technical Officer at the International Labour Organization.

Leanne Melnyk completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations and Affairs at Trinity Western University from 1999 to 2004. Leanne then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a focus on Labour Law at Western University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2017, Leanne enrolled at the University of Cambridge and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Value Chains in 2018. Additionally, they completed a Leadership Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion at Centennial College from an unspecified start date, finishing in 2020.
