JP Potgieter is an experienced Head of Production at Quizzical Pictures since March 2008, known for producing the first original drama for Showmax, "The Girl from St. Agnes." Previously, as Head of Commercial Productions, JP produced the feature film "iNumber Number" and excelled as a Commercials Producer by winning the 2009 Silver Apex Award for the "Castle Lite Crossroads" series. JP established successful budget and scheduling models for a new production unit at Quizzical Pictures, ensuring profitability in its first year. Prior experience includes being a Freelance Commercials Producer from April 2005 to February 2008 and serving as a Producer at Threshold Collective, where JP rebranded an Afrikaans music magazine show and produced a weekly live broadcast for SABC2. JP holds a degree from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1990 and 1994.
