Gaurang Mukherjee

Gaurang Mukherjee has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gaurang started their career as a Service Engineer at JYOTI LIMITED in 1972 and worked there until 1980. Following that, they joined ASSOCIATED CEMENT Company as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they focused on the operation and maintenance of power plants and water desalination systems. Gaurang then worked at YANBU CEMENT \u2013Saudi Arabia & BLUE CIRCLE INDUSTRIES UK as a Senior Electrical Engineer from 1988 to 2005.

In 2005, Gaurang joined SNC-LAVALIN PETROLEUM as an Electrical Specialist, where they managed the engineering design package for power generation systems and distribution networks. Gaurang worked on projects for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia.

In 2006, they joined FLUOR DANIEL Vancouver BC, Canada as a Design Specialist, where they worked on a large mining project in Mongolia. Gaurang was responsible for the engineering design package for power generation systems and grid interconnection systems.

Gaurang then worked at SNC-Lavalin Engineers & Constructors from 2006 to 2010 as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Gaurang worked on projects such as the Ambatovy Madagascar Project, where they focused on substation design and optimization.

In 2010, Gaurang joined SNC Lavalin as a Senior Electrical Engineer, and later became a Principal Electrical Engineer. In this role, they were involved in projects such as the KOCH Fertilizer Brandon Manitoba switchyard upgrade and construction. Gaurang also worked on projects for Qulliq Energy Corporation as the Director of Engineering.

Throughout their career, Gaurang has demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering design, power generation systems, distribution networks, and project management.

Gaurang Mukherjee attended The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 1966 to 1970, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
