Sean Gwaltney

Sean Gwaltney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sean is currently employed at Qumulo as the Director of Azure Development, where they lead initiatives to align with digital transformation and workload optimization in Azure. Prior to this, they worked at Microsoft in multiple roles, including as a Senior Business Manager, where they successfully influenced over $6 billion in revenue and improved customer confidence in Microsoft. Sean also has experience as an Executive Briefing Center industry-focused customer engagement strategist and has specialized knowledge in cyber security, data estate modernization, and citizen developer strategies. Earlier in their career, they owned Consolidated Business Services, LLC, and held positions at Schlumberger, Bering Straits Native Corporation, Dowland Construction, Inc., and CE2 Engineers Inc.

Sean Gwaltney completed their education as follows:

- From 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Business Analytics.

- In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Master's Degree in Project Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

- Between 2003 and 2007, they attended the University of Idaho and earned two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees. One was in Business with a focus on Production/Operations Management, and the other was in Philosophy.

Sean has also obtained several additional certifications, including Microsoft certifications in Azure Fundamentals and Azure Data Fundamentals, and a Project Management Professional certification. Sean also has certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and various courses and workshops in areas such as Power BI, Design Thinking, and Quantum Computing.
