Michelle Burns

Michelle Burns is an experienced professional in urban planning and infrastructure, currently serving as an Associate at Quod since March 2023. Previously, Michelle held various roles at Lower Thames Crossing, including Deputy Negotiations Lead and Senior Town Planner, where involvement in one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects was key. Additional experience includes positions as Principal Town Planner at COWI and Senior Town Planner at Jacobs, focusing on stakeholder engagement and Development Consent Order work streams. Prior to these roles, Michelle worked as a Consultant in Environment and Planning at Aurecon and as a Planner at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Planning with Honors from The University of Auckland.
