Michelle Thompson

Michelle Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michelle began their career as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Good Will-Hinckley in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Michelle then moved on to Johnny's Selected Seeds, where they served as an Accounting Assistant from 1996 to 2006. In 2003, Michelle briefly worked at Eagle Rental as an Accounting Assistant. Michelle continued their career at Colorado Springs Marriott as an Accounts Payable/Project Coordinator from 2006 to 2007, and then transitioned to Colorado Springs Country Club as an Accounts Payable Coordinator from 2007 to 2010.

Michelle's next role was as the Corporate Controller for DocuMart Copies & Printing, where they managed the finances of multiple locations and the owner's personal finances, including Pilatus Airplane finances. Michelle held this position from 2010 to 2015. In the same year, Michelle also worked at Data102 (now ColoHouse), Quonix Inc, and ColoHouse, serving as a Corporate Accountant and Colohouse Billing Manager respectively.

Michelle Thompson attended Worcester Central School from 1987 to 1991, where they earned their High School Diploma. Michelle'sfield of study focused on Business & Math. Michelle then furthered their education at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Michelle'sfield of study at the university was Accounting and Business/Management.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle has obtained several certifications. In 1994, they completed a course on Successful Collection Techniques offered by the American Management Association. In 1996, they received certification in Advanced Microsoft Excel from Pryor Learning | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack. In 2000, they completed The Essentials of Accounts Payable course at Rockhurst University. Michelle later obtained certifications in Financial Statements from Pryor Learning | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack in 2011, Payroll Laws from the same institution in 2016, and Sales & Use Tax Workshop also from Pryor Learning | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack in 2016.
