Quoorum was born from a deep conviction: culture and knowledge should never be confined by borders.

Founded by linguists, translators, and passionate book lovers, Quoorum is a high-tech literary translation service specialised in long-form fiction and non-fiction. We set out to overcome the structural limitations of automated translation systems, which process text sequentially and struggle to maintain coherence, stylistic continuity, and narrative depth at book scale.

To address this, Quoorum has developed a unique hybrid system: a reflexive, non-linear, multi-perspective editorial process powered by advanced computational methods (our RNLMP framework). Translation is treated not as a fixed output, but as an ongoing editorial dialogue. The system generates and confronts multiple translation hypotheses and allows earlier choices to be questioned and revised as new context emerges—mirroring the way experienced literary translators rethink their decisions as a manuscript unfolds. Qualified human translators review and validate each project to ensure stylistic consistency, terminological accuracy, and fidelity to authorial intent. Every project is treated as a complete literary object, guided by a living editorial framework.

Beyond cost efficiency, Quoorum addresses a critical industry challenge: time-to-market. Many remarkable works—both new releases and valuable back catalogue titles—are never translated because opportunities are missed. By combining speed, reliability and editorial validation, Quoorum enables publishers, authors and rights holders to unlock and monetise their back catalogues while acting on current cultural or commercial momentum.

Quoorum delivers publication-ready literary translations that combine quality, speed and economic viability.
Culture belongs to all. Quoorum makes it accessible.
