Head Of External Engagement at Quorn Foods

Tess Kelly has a diverse background in various roles related to sustainability, communications, and research. Tess most recently worked at Quorn Foods as the Head of External Engagement, where they led the development of the company's social impact strategy and managed innovative nutrition-focused projects. Prior to this, they held positions at Quorn Foods as the Sustainable Development Manager, Corporate Development & Communications Manager, and Sustainability Projects Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for shaping the company's sustainability goals, managing strategic partnerships, and representing the company at external events. Before joining Quorn Foods, Tess worked at Leeds Beckett University as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Research Associate, where they conducted research on nutritional behavior change and its impact on alternative protein sources. Tess also gained experience in the hospitality industry as a Duty Manager at The Columbo Group, where they were responsible for staff training and event organization.

Tess Kelly has a diverse education history. Tess obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from UCL in 2013. Prior to that, they completed A Levels in History, Government and Politics at Westminster Kingsway College. Tess also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Behavioral Nutrition from Leeds Beckett University, which they earned from 2016 to 2018. Tess further pursued their education at the University of Nottingham, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Psychology from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, Tess attended the University of Cambridge for a CPD in Business Sustainability Management in 2018. Currently, they are pursuing an MSc in Global Food Security and Nutrition with a focus on International Relations and Affairs at The University of Edinburgh, starting in 2022 and expected to end in 2025. Tess has also acquired various certifications related to their field of study and interests, including Level 3 Safeguarding Adults from Virtual College and a Mycology Diploma from the Centre of Excellence.
