Amy McFarland

Amy McFarland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amy is currently working as a Cyber Security Analyst at Quorum Cyber since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Junior Cyber Security Analyst at Capita from January 2021 to March 2022. Amy also has experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a PA to GM/Hotel Admin at Culloden Estate and Spa from July 2017 to July 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Medical Receptionist at Dr McFarlands Practice and Partners from July 2012 to July 2016, where they gained excellent communication skills and confidence. Amy also has some experience in the retail sector, having worked as a Customer Assistant at Sainsbury's in December 2014 and at Toys R Us UK from October to December 2014.

Amy McFarland completed their education at various institutions. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Queen's University Belfast where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology. This program also included a year of professional experience. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Heriot-Watt University from 2019 to 2020. Here, they earned an MSc degree in Network Security.

Amy McFarland has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Amy obtained the "IBM QRadar SIEM Foundation" certification from IBM in January 2021. Later, in October 2022, they earned the "Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate" certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they achieved the "Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate" certification in November 2022 and the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification in May 2023.
