Don Esposito

Donald Esposito joined Quorum Health as Chief Legal Counsel in September 2021. With more than two decades of experience, Don has a deep understanding of complex health care law.

Most recently, Don was a partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he served in the firm’s health care practice providing strategic counsel to hospital systems, physician practices, community health centers and other health care organizations. Before that, he was senior vice president and general counsel of Mission Health Systems in Asheville, North Carolina, a clinically integrated network that includes an 815-bed flagship hospital, five additional acute care hospitals, a children’s hospital, a physician group, and other operations. He held prior roles at UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina, the North Carolina Department of Justice and in private practice.

Don earned his degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from the University of North Carolina. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
