Full Stack Software Engineer II at Quorum

Oishani Ganguly has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research.

Oishani currently works at Quorum as a Technical Lead and Full Stack Software Engineer. In their role as a Technical Lead, they started in October 2022 and is responsible for leading and overseeing technical projects. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, they started in June 2022 and previously worked from January to May 2022.

Before joining Quorum, Oishani worked as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science from August 2021 to May 2022.

Oishani also gained experience as a Full Stack Software Engineering Intern at Quorum from June to August 2021. During their internship, they contributed to the development of a new data set of bills and created API endpoints using Django and React/Redux. Oishani collaborated with team members and successfully launched the project.

Prior to this, Oishani worked as a Full-Stack Software Engineering Intern at Cambium Consultants, Inc from June to August 2020. Oishani played a key role in building enterprise legal software and integrated NLP logic with the front-end using RESTful APIs.

In 2019, Oishani worked as a Full Stack Developer at takk from September to December. Oishani led a team in developing a phonathon web app and implemented RESTful API using Django for data processing, analysis, and rendering.

During their time at Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science in 2019, Oishani worked as a Safe Harbor and Internet Privacy Law Research Assistant, co-authoring a paper on U.S. safe harbor law. Oishani also served as a Lab Research Intern at the Communication and Collaborative Technologies Lab, conducting a study on online news sharing and implementing design modifications to curb the spread of misinformation on social media. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Cornell UbiComp Lab, implementing PyAudio functions and conducting a study on human chewing.

Oishani's work experience also includes being a Student Caller at Cornell Annual Fund from September 2018 to May 2019, where they raised funds for Cornell University and provided support to alumni and parents.

Oishani Ganguly completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Cornell University, from the years 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Modern High School for Girls, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Science, spanning from 2004 to 2018.
