Marie Hammerschmidt

Marie Hammerschmidt has a vast work experience spanning from 1999 to the present. Marie began their career at JCPenney as a Senior Customer Service Representative from July 1999 to October 2002. From there, they worked as a Customer Care Specialist at Sopris West Educational Services from October 2002 to August 2004. At Bankrate Insurance, Marie held multiple roles, including Inside Sales Representative, Customer Service Representative, and Carrier Support Manager. Marie was responsible for managing lead programs with insurance carriers, facilitating negotiation processes, and analyzing program performance. Marie then transitioned to insuranceQuotes, where they served as the Senior Director of Strategic Account Management. In this role, Marie supervised the strategic account management team, developed effective account plans, and participated in contract negotiations. Marie also worked as the Vice President of ZipQuote at ZipQuote powered by Underground Elephant, and as the VP of Health at UE.co. Their most recent position is at QuoteWizard, where they currently serve as the Senior Director of Agent Partnerships, overseeing agent partnerships and carrier accounts.

Marie Hammerschmidt started their education at the University of Colorado Denver in 1996, where they pursued liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies for one year. Subsequently, from 1997 to 2001, they attended Colorado State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.
