Xihui Xu

Xihui Xu currently serves as the Senior Director of Toxicology at QurAlis since April 2022, focusing on overseeing non-GLP and GLP toxicology studies to support new drug development. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director/Principal Scientist at BlueRock Therapeutics and Scientist II at Cytokinetics, alongside an IRTA Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where research concentrated on the role of mitochondria in metabolic syndrome and aging. Additional experience encompasses a Research Scientist position at the University of Wyoming, which involved leading pharmacology and toxicology studies, and earlier roles in regulatory affairs and clinical research at Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Sine Pharmaceutical Corp. Ltd. Educational endeavors included in-depth studies on cardiovascular protective effects during early research assistant roles, contributing to a robust foundation in pharmacological and toxicological research.
