Joey Lupo

Product Security Architect at QuSecure

Joey Lupo has a wide range of work experience. Joey began their career in 2015 as a Website Developer for The Little Bit Foundation, where they provided custom edits and additions to PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript underlying a WordPress CMS. In 2017, they worked as a Mathematics Grader for Amherst College. In 2018, they worked as a SageMath (Python) Developer for Saint Louis University, where they worked with Dr. Benjamin Hutz on improving the open-source computer algebra system SageMath. In 2019, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for Amherst College and as an Undergraduate Researcher and SageMath (Python) Developer for the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM). Currently, they are working as a Product Security Architect and Software Engineer for QuSecure.

Joey Lupo completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Amherst College in 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Joey then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Cyber Security, Privacy and Trust from The University of Edinburgh, which they completed in 2021, graduating With Distinction.
