Javier Morgado Brajones has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Javier began their career at the Universidad de Extremadura, where they completed their Final Degree Project, performing numerical calculations of energies of electronic orbitals for atoms with atomic number up to Uranium using Hartree-Fock and Thomas-Fermi methods. Javier also served as Counsel to the University Mediator. In 2016, they worked as an Intern at the CEA - Laboratoire Léon Brillouin, where they studied the interaction of Hfq Amyloids with Biological Membranes. Javier also worked as an Intern at the CSIC - Instituto de Catálisis y Petroleoquímica, where they characterized the interaction of Hfq Amyloids with Lipid Membranes using Atomic Force Microscopy and Quartz Crystal Microbalance. Javier then worked as a PhD Student at the ITAV - Institut des Technologies Avancées en sciences du Vivant. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Post-doctoral researcher and Research Engineer at ICFO, and is currently working as an HPC Solutions Engineer at Quside.
