Rachel King

Rachel King is an academic at Queensland University of Technology in the School of Justice, with experience in developing training programs on gender-based violence and coordinating courses on domestic and family violence. Prior roles include leadership positions at Micah Projects and participation on the research advisory council for Bravehearts. Rachel has served as a community education officer and researcher at various organizations, including the Domestic Violence Action Centre INC and the Crime and Corruption Commission. Additionally, Rachel was a senior research officer at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and a senior research associate and lecturer at RMIT University. Rachel's educational background includes a PhD in Criminology and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from The University of Queensland.
