Shamith S has a diverse work experience in the field of cloud security and software development. Shamith is currently working at Quzara LLC as a Senior SOC Detection Engineer, specializing in Microsoft Sentinel. Shamith has also held the role of Cloud Security Engineer at the same company. In this role, they have demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Sentinel, Kusto Query Language (KQL), SOAR (Playbooks), and Workbook. One of their key responsibilities has been creating new analytics rules. Prior to joining Quzara LLC, Shamith worked at Accenture as a Cloud Security Technology Analyst. Their work at UST included roles as a Microsoft-Sentinel SIEM Rule Developer and an Associate Software Developer.

Shamith S pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Pondicherry University. Shamith completed this degree between the years 2014 and 2018.

In addition, Shamith S has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Shamith completed the "Implementing and Administering Azure Sentinel" certification from LinkedIn in July 2021. In May 2021, they obtained the "Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK" certification from AttackIQ. Prior to that, in May 2020, they acquired the "Applied Data Science using Python" certification from the Data Science Academy. Most recently, in November 2021, they achieved the "Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate" certification from Microsoft.
