Douglas Venters

Douglas Venters has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Douglas'smost recent position was as a Senior Project Engineer at QV Bioelectronics, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at CSL Behring from June 2020 to June 2022, first as a BioProcess Scientist and then as a Technical Operations Scientist. In these roles, they provided technical recommendations, conducted lab-based investigations, and coordinated analytical activities.

Before joining CSL Behring, Venters was a PhD Research Student at the University of Glasgow from October 2015 to March 2020. Douglas'sresearch focused on the development of synthetic polymeric hydrogels for regenerative medicine applications in the spinal cord. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the university from November to December 2018.

Venters began their career as a Masters Student-Research Project at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from July to December 2014.

Douglas Venters attended the University of Glasgow from 2010 to 2015, where they pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
