Vesa Ojalehto

Vesa Ojalehto has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vesa started their career in 2000 at the University of Jyväskylä, where they worked as a Research Assistant, Research Secretary, and Project Secretary until 2008. From 2009 to 2015, they held the position of Researcher at the same university. During this time, they also worked as a Software Designer at Stresstech Oy for a brief period in 2015. In 2015, Vesa joined FINNOPT as a Partner and CTO, where they remained until 2021. During their time at FINNOPT, they also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä from 2015 to 2019. In 2018, they joined Qvantel as a Specialist Software Developer and later became the Web Team Lead in 2019. Currently, Vesa works as a Senior AI Scientist at Silo AI, starting from April 2021.

Vesa Ojalehto obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology from the University of Jyväskylä in 2014.
