Shahab Vagefi

Shahab Vagefi is a seasoned private equity professional with extensive experience in the financial industry. Currently serving as Managing Director at Thomas H. Lee Partners since October 2021, Vagefi previously co-founded Martis Capital, where involvement spanned from June 2010 to August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group from 2007 to 2010, and analyst positions at Credit Suisse and JP Morgan H&Q from 2003 to 2005 and 2001 to 2002, respectively. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor’s Degree from The Johns Hopkins University. Vagefi's educational journey began at Choate Rosemary Hall, where a high school diploma was obtained.
