Jules Baratoux has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Jules began their career as a Web Application Developer at JRI, where they specialized in digital photo-book conception and realization, as well as photo manipulation. Later, they worked as a Developer at MyCFD and also undertook a Software Engineering Internship at Sogeti High Tech. In 2011, Jules became a self-employed Freelance Software Engineer. From 2016 to the present, they have been associated with Qwant, where they have held several positions, including Software Engineer Intern, DevOps Engineer, DevOps Lead, Head of Automation and Deployment, Technical Program Manager, Chief of Staff (CTO's office), and currently serves as the Deputy CTO. Jules Baratoux's expertise spans various aspects of software engineering, including automation, deployment, development, and management.
Jules Baratoux obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from EPITECH - European Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. In 2015, they also attended UC San Diego, focusing on Computer Science and Engineering. Jules Baratoux participated in the Startup Academy program at HEC Paris in 2014. In addition, they received the European First Aid Certificate (EFAC) from Croix-Rouge française in February 2012.
