Evgeny Petrov

Evgeny Petrov has diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles. Evgeny started their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer at ABBYY, where they worked on developing a tool called ABBYY Aligner. Evgeny was responsible for programming the user interface using WinAPI and COM.

In 2010, Evgeny joined Begun as a Software Engineer for a year before moving on to Yandex in 2011. At Yandex, they held various positions, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming the Head of Backend Components Development for Yandex Routing. As the team lead, they managed a development team of 8 developers located in 2 countries.

In 2014, Evgeny joined the Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH company. Evgeny initially served as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on sensor interfacing, and later transitioned into the role of Senior Software Engineer/Scrum Master, specializing in perception. Evgeny played a crucial role in developing software solutions for autonomous driving.

Most recently, in 2020, Evgeny joined Qwello as an Embedded Engineer. Evgeny'sresponsibilities there include working on Embedded/Embedded Linux software for charging stations, implementing protocols, fixing kernel drivers, and designing testing devices. Evgeny also helped the team set up regular sprints for efficient workflow.
