Rubal Chib

Rubal Chib has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2012. In 2012, they began as an R&D Intern at Vinfinet Technologies Pvt Ltd. Rubal then moved to a Stealth Mode Startup as an R&D Engineer for Product Development. In 2015, they joined Cube26 as an R&D Engineer for IoT and developed India's first smart bulb, IOTA Lite, which sold over 5000 devices. In 2017, they joined Havells India Ltd as a Project Lead and Senior Engineer for R&D and managed a research project in collaboration with IIT Delhi. In 2019, they joined Entrepreneur First as a BA1 Fellow and in the same year they also became Co-Founder and CEO of qZense Labs, building an end to end IoT+AI solution for fresh food quality assessment and management. Their work has been featured in MIT Technology Review, Forbes Asia 100 to Watch, 2021, Shark Tank India, NASSCOM Emerge50, 2020, and CNBC TV18. Rubal also won the NABARD-ONDC HACKATHON and was backed by Reliance's flagship accelerator, JioGenNext.

Rubal Chib obtained a 12th degree from Army Public School (APS) in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). Rubal then went on to pursue a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from RBIET from 2008 to 2012. In 2018, they obtained a Data Analytics for Business Professionals certification from LinkedIn. In 2022, they are set to complete the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
