Phil Johnson

Phil Johnson is an accomplished sales and management professional with extensive experience in the packaging and beverage industries. Currently serving as Industry Sales Director for Verticals & International at R.A Jones since February 2024, Phil previously held the position of Vice President Sales and Service at Butler Automatic Inc. from January 2017 to March 2024. Prior to this, Phil was the Managing Director at NMP Systems GmbH, specializing in high-resolution digital decoration and multipacking technologies. Notable roles also include Director of Dry-End Packaging at KHS and Sales Managing Director EMEA at Hartness International. Throughout a progressive career, Phil has transformed traditional businesses into high-growth organizations and has a strong track record in managing sales teams, driving new business initiatives, and establishing regional strategies. Phil holds a Master's degree in French from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and French Studies from the University of Cincinnati.
