Marco Garcia-Duarte has a diverse work experience. Marco started their career as a Contractor Construction Assistant at Warm Homes Construction in 2016, where they assisted in constructing an award-winning cabin. In 2014, they worked as a Lead Instructor at Wolf Camp and the Conservation College, gaining valuable skills in communication, creativity, and problem-solving while working with children and adults. In 2020, they worked as a Summer Intern at More Gardens! , More Gardens Fund, where they remotely designed an outdoor bathroom and wash area for a non-profit organization. In 2021, they volunteered at WWOOF-USA® for three months. Currently, they are working as a Fire Protection Engineer at Vanderweil Engineers, starting in March 2022.

Marco Garcia-Duarte obtained their Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. In addition, they completed the Virtual Internship Program offered by Anchor QEA, obtaining certification in July 2020.
