Joanna Choukeir

Joanna Choukeir, PhD, serves as the Director of Design and Innovation at The RSA and is the founder and designer of Design My Family Tree, a micro social enterprise dedicated to supporting family growth and environmental sustainability. With extensive experience in academia, Joanna functions as an external PhD supervisor at the Royal College of Art and has held various teaching positions at Kingston University and the University of the Arts London. Previous roles include Health Director at FutureGov and Design Director at Uscreates, where Joanna led initiatives in design and social innovation across sectors. Joanna's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Communication Design for Social Cohesion and an MA in Graphic Design, complemented by a BA in Graphic Design from Notre Dame University - Louaize.
