Chelsea Boyd, M.S., is a research fellow at the R Street Institute, specializing in health communication and policy research synthesis. Since April 2021, Chelsea has focused on translating complex public health research for policymakers and crafting engaging content for non-expert audiences. Chelsea’s prior experience includes a project manager role at the National Council for Behavioral Health, where responsibilities entailed toolkit development on implicit bias in law enforcement and qualitative data analysis. Earlier positions at the R Street Institute, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, and DC Center for AIDS Research included public health research, policy analysis, and program support. Chelsea holds a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from The George Washington University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
