Sabrina Schaeffer has extensive experience in public affairs and strategic communications. Sabrina is currently the Vice President of Public Affairs at the R Street Institute. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director at the White House Writers Group, Inc. where they managed multiple client teams and played an active role in business development. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Public Affairs at The Herald Group, where they managed client teams and cultivated third party alliances.
Schaeffer also has experience in non-profit leadership, having served as the Executive Director of the Independent Women's Forum. During their time there, they significantly grew the organization's budget, expanded the staff and board of directors, and established the organization as a thought leader in women and politics. Sabrina Schaeffer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Prior to these higher education experiences, Sabrina Schaeffer attended Chadwick School from 1983 to 1995.
