Sabrina Schaeffer

Sabrina Schaeffer has extensive experience in public affairs and strategic communications. Sabrina is currently the Vice President of Public Affairs at the R Street Institute. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director at the White House Writers Group, Inc. where they managed multiple client teams and played an active role in business development. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Public Affairs at The Herald Group, where they managed client teams and cultivated third party alliances.

Schaeffer also has experience in non-profit leadership, having served as the Executive Director of the Independent Women's Forum. During their time there, they significantly grew the organization's budget, expanded the staff and board of directors, and established the organization as a thought leader in women and politics. Additionally, they have worked as a Strategic Communications Consultant and a Speechwriter for Senator George Voinovich.

Earlier in their career, Schaeffer held roles at the Republican Jewish Coalition, the White House Writers Group, and the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). At AEI, they served as a staff assistant to Ambassador Jeane J. Kirkpatrick.

Sabrina Schaeffer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Sabrina furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree in History and Political Science at the University of Virginia from 2003 to 2005. Prior to these higher education experiences, Sabrina Schaeffer attended Chadwick School from 1983 to 1995.
