Edgar Secrest

Edgar Secrest has over 35 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Production. Edgar began their career in 1984 as a Project Product Quality Engineer, Material Review Board (MRB) at LORAL Systems Group Akron Ohio (FKA Goodyear Aerospace Corp). In 1988 they moved to Invacare Corporation as a Senior Quality Engineer. In 1991 they were hired as Quality Manager at PLASTIC COMPONENTS INC. In 1995 they became a Quality Systems Consultant at Resolutions Inc. In 1998 they were hired as Manager Quality, Operations Support at Osterland Company. From 2003 to 2004 they worked at International Sources, Inc. as QA/Projects, where they developed a data-based system to achieve ISO9001 by December 2004. From 2004 to 2016 they were Director of Quality Assurance and Production at FFr-DSI, Inc., where they implemented systems, set corporate quality metrics, and introduced the use of Lean/Six Sigma tools. Since 2016 they have been the Director of Quality Assurance at RW Beckett Corporation.

Edgar Secrest attended Baldwin Wallace University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an EMBA with a 4.0 GPA in Operations Management. Prior to that, they attended The University of Akron from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a BSEET in Electrical.
