Matthew Sessions has a wide range of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Software Developer II at R.W. Beckett Corporation. In 2021, they became an Engineer at Inertial Aerospace Services, Inc., where they wrote uniform high-level interfaces to diverse SCPI-based measurement & testing hardware, designed & created hardware & software to communicate with interfaces on next-generation avionics, and designed & created an innovative device for positioning of sensors for installation into navigation devices. Also in 2021, they began working as an Inventory Specialist at Applied Maintenance Supplies & Solutions, where they reorganized and measured all parts in warehouse for ERP system overhaul, created a project to intelligently estimate bulk volume of all standardized fasteners stocked by the company, and designed and 3D-printed special devices to accelerate measurement of bulk volume of parts. In 2018, they began working as a Software Engineer at Parker Hannifin, where they created software to help Parker-Hannifin automate the creation, analysis, and verification of jet pumps. Matthew also assisted another Senior Project group at Cleveland State University, where they wrote the entirety of code to control automated device which dispenses fixed amount of liquid from syringe into container, and created software to allow medical robotic arm controlled by a C++ library running on a built-in Linux computer to be controlled by a Simulink program running on a Windows computer. In 2018, they also began working as a Store Associate at Great Lakes Outdoor Supply. In 2017, they became an Archive Researcher/Analyst, 3D Modeler at C&Rsenal, where they searched in and retrieved documents from domestic and international government archives, and performed extensive patent research and patent analysis. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at the University of M\u00fcnster, where they wrote a future-proofed SCCM deployment script for MATLAB and developed an SCCM deployment script for Python. In 2015, they worked as a Tutor at InstaEDU, tutoring basics of programming, language & libraries, and program design, as well as basics of computer architectures, computing history, and operating system design history. Finally, in 2011, they became an AVID Tutor at Alief ISD, where they worked with 3-4 classes of 25+ students on a weekly basis, tutoring in all subjects and teaching self-sufficiency and academic introspection.

Matthew Sessions attended Dwight-Englewood School from 2005 to 2008. Matthew then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University, which they completed in 2019.
