Carlos Barberis

Carlos Barberis has over 17 years of experience in the technology industry. Carlos began their career in 2004 as a Web Developer at Creativa. Carlos then moved to Mobi2go in 2007 as a Developer, where they designed, coded and maintained web applications. In 2009, they joined SilverStripe as a Developer, where they were responsible for back-end and front-end development, and was an active contributor to the open source CMS, framework and modules. In 2014, they moved to Touchcast NZ as a Senior Developer, and then back to SilverStripe as an Agile Project Manager & Scrum Master. In 2018, they joined ANZ as an Agile Coach, and in 2019 they moved to AKQA as a Delivery Lead. In 2020, they joined Dovetail as a Product Manager and Delivery Manager, and in 2022 they moved to R2 as a Senior Product Manager.

Carlos Barberis has an extensive educational background. Carlos completed a Bachelor of Computer Science from Universidad de Viña del Mar between 1998 and 2004, with a field of study in ICT. Carlos then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Management at Victoria University of Wellington from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Carlos has obtained a number of certifications, including Daniel Pink on Motivation from LinkedIn in March 2022, ICAgile Certified Professional - Enterprise Product Ownership from ICAgile in July 2021, What is Data Science? from Coursera in March 2020, AI for Everyone from Coursera in January 2020, Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine from Coursera in September 2019, AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native from Coursera in April 2019, STORYTELLING FOR INFLUENCE from IDEO U in September 2018, Prince2 Foundation from PEOPLECERT in May 2017, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021, and ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Project Management (ICP-APM) from ICAgile.
