Darwin Cubi

Darwin Cubi has been working in the data science and actuarial fields since 2013. Darwin began their career as an Analyst Assistant at Analytic Ideas Services in 2013. In 2014 they were a Database Debugger at the Instituto Nacional de Investigación en Salud Pública - INSPI Dr. Leopoldo Izquieta Pérez. From 2016 to 2017 they held the role of Teaching Assistant at the Universidad Central del Ecuador. During this same time period, they also worked as an Actuary and Data Scientist at Aseguradora del Sur. In 2021 they became a Data Scientist | Actuary at Eko Actuarial and Business Intelligence Manager at MEGAPROFER S.A. Darwin is currently a Data Scientist at R2.

Darwin Cubi obtained a Diplomado Seguros Generales y Vida from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2019. Darwin also obtained an Ingeniero Matemático from Universidad Central del Ecuador between 2010 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from Databricks, ETL Part 1: Data Extraction in November 2020, and Academy Accreditation - Delta Lake Essentials in September 2020.
