Julio Armando Vilar Valdés

Julio Armando Vilar Valdés has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Starting in 2010, they worked as an Engineer of Software at DEP until 2011. Julio Armando then transitioned to DI-ME Ltda in 2011, where they served as a Technical-Industrial Advisor until 2013.

In 2013, Vilar Valdés joined Ikusi LATAM and held multiple positions over the years, including Project Engineer and Operations Engineer. In these roles, they provided support to the Key Account Manager, conducted technical evaluations, and generated technical documentation and publications.

In 2018, they became the Pre-Sales and Operations Manager at Ikusi LATAM, responsible for managing pre-sales and operational activities. In January 2021, they took on the position of Engineering and Pre-Sales Leader, overseeing engineering and pre-sales activities until September 2021.

In September 2021, Vilar Valdés joined Hikvision as a Vertical Engineer, contributing to the company's projects until May 2023.

Currently, they are employed at r2p Group as a Project Manager, starting in April 2023.

Julio Armando Vilar Valdés has a diverse and extensive education history. Julio Armando obtained a Master's degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency from VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they completed a diploma program in Electrical Distribution Systems Planning at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente in 2022. In 2017, Julio Armando Vilar Valdés earned a diploma in Design and Implementation of Intelligent Transportation Systems from Universidad Piloto de Colombia.

Furthermore, Julio Armando Vilar Valdés holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Robotic, and Mechatronic Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Colombia, which they completed between 2012 and 2016. Before that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering at Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana "José Antonio Echeverría", CUJAE, from 2007 to 2012.
