Nerea Gil Castro has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nerea started their career as a Support Classes Teacher, where they provided educational support to students from 2007 to 2013. Following this, they joined Nagra as an Integration Engineer, ensuring the quality of solutions delivered to customers and contributing to test strategy and documentation. In 2016, they moved to Irdeto as a Customer Integration and Support Engineer, where they engaged in technical integration activities, developed documentation, and ensured customer requirements were met. Currently, they are employed at r2p Group as a Project Manager, responsible for managing customer projects and delivering them on time and within budget.
Nerea Gil Castro obtained their degree in Telecommunications Engineering (Ing. en Telecomunicaciones) from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Technical Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (Ing. Técnica en Telecomunicaciones) with a specialization in telecommunications systems at the same institution between 2005 and 2009.
In addition to their formal education, Nerea Gil Castro has also obtained several certifications. Nerea received the Widevine CWIP certification from Widevine Technologies in October 2018. In January 2017, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certificate from the institution EXIN your ICT competence partner. Prior to their formal education, Nerea Gil Castro earned the EGA certification from Eusko Jaurlaritza - Gobierno Vasco in June 2004. Nerea also obtained the FIRST certification from the University of Cambridge in June 2004.
