Mika Kovanen

Mika Kovanen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product operations and HVAC design. Currently serving as Product Operations Lead at R8 TECHNOLOGIES since March 2024, Mika has a strong background in heating system maintenance and contracting with Sipoon poltinhuolto Oy since November 2005. Previous roles include leading advisor and director positions at Ramboll, where expertise in energy solutions and sustainability was developed over nearly nine years. Mika has honed skills in energy modeling and HVAC design through roles at Projectus Team Oy and Pöyry. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Business Informatics and a Bachelor of Engineering in HVAC Design, both from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
