Alex Miller

Alex Miller is an Associate at RA Capital Management since September 2023, specializing in finance. Previously, Alex served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2018 to August 2023, focusing on a thesis regarding blood exchange methods for studying tumor cell circulation kinetics. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the Broad Institute from November 2015 to September 2018, where Alex researched malaria infection of liver cells. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Harvard University from September 2012 to June 2015, Alex contributed to the development of drug refillable vascular catheters using DNA toehold exchange. Alex holds a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Harvard University.
