Annemarie Kuijt is a project leader in cultural history at RAAP since April 2021, bringing extensive experience in the fields of art and architectural history. Previous roles include PR at West 8 from November 2016 to March 2021 and a lecturer in Modern Architecture at Vrije Academie | Kunst & Cultuur in 2017. As a freelancer and art & architecture historian from 2015 to 2017, Annemarie also worked at SteenhuisMeurs, contributing as an architectural historian from August 2012 to August 2015, where emphasis was placed on cultural historical research and advisory for municipalities, developers, and architectural firms. Prior involvement at the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden included public service roles from September 2009 to March 2013, alongside a brief internship at SteenhuisMeurs in 2011. Annemarie holds a Master’s degree in Heritage Studies from the University of Amsterdam, a National Guide certificate from ROC van Amsterdam, a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Leiden University, and is currently pursuing a degree in Green Heritage at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
