Oda Nuij

Oda Nuij is a paleobotanist currently employed at RAAP since September 2020 and serving as a PhD candidate at Universiteit Leiden since January 2023. Previous experience includes extensive internships at Universiteit Leiden from July 2016 to September 2020, where Oda conducted independent pollen analysis and botanical macroremains analysis, along with various archaeological fieldwork stages across Europe involving drilling, excavation, sampling, and public engagement. Oda holds a Research Master of Science in Bioarchaeology from Leiden University (2018-2020), a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Leiden University (2014-2018), and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (2013-2017), complemented by a secondary education from Willibrord Gymnasium Deurne (2007-2013).
