Rahul Patil

Rahul Patil's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Rahul is currently working at RAAPID.AI as a Research Team Lead since April 2023, and previously held the position of Sr. Research Engineer from September 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at EZDI, Inc - an AGS Health company from July 2018 to September 2021.

In 2017, they worked at Byte Prophecy as a Data Scientist, where they developed an algorithm for detecting borderlines of images in dental radiographs. Rahul also designed and trained a deep CNN using Python libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, and OpenCV.

Prior to that, Rahul worked as a Data Science Intern at iPredictt Data Labs Pvt Ltd in 2016, where they designed and implemented an application for face detection, tracking, and recognition using the Viola-Jones object detection algorithm.

In 2015, they had an internship at LetsTransport.in, where they conducted time-series analysis of orders placed at the logistic startup. Rahul managed cash flow, analyzed actual results, and forecasted the number of orders using smoothing techniques in Excel.

In 2014, Rahul worked as an intern at Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd., where they developed CNC program commands for centrifugal pumps and designed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks. Rahul also analyzed various manufacturing processes on CNC machines.

Rahul Patil completed their high school education with a focus on Science at Jai Hind High School, from 2005 to 2010. Rahul then attended Vidya Wardhini College from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued 12th Science, though the specific degree name is unspecified. Later, Rahul pursued a B.Tech+M.Tech (Dual) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, starting in 2012 and graduating in 2017.
