Senior Customer Success Manager at Rabbet

Derek Foresman is currently a Customer Success Manager at Rabbet. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Project Manager at Lauth Group, Inc. from May 2015 to April 2020. In this role, Derek provided leadership and direction in the planning and execution of multimillion-dollar projects involving diverse industries, such as medical, automotive, government, technology, R&D and manufacturing. Derek also developed and sustained client relationships over a multi-year span, communicated the company’s full portfolio of solutions and earned exceptional customer satisfaction ratings, which secured repeat business.

Derek has experience managing high priority workflow in fast-paced, evolving business environments. Derek has directed and collaborated in teams that completed over $100M in projects during their tenure. Derek is also skilled in preparing contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to agreements with third party architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Derek has successfully planned, organized and led on-site subcontractors and internal teams to complete multiple construction activities concurrently.

As a primary contact with clients and stakeholders, Derek has maintained essential relationships and ensured successful project delivery and repeat business. Derek has also maintained partnerships with clients/tenants after occupancy of the facility to guarantee continued satisfaction. Derek has assumed responsibility for project costs by monitoring budgets and commitments, recognizing potential problems ahead of time and forecasting completion cost to identify potential savings.

Derek began their career with Lauth Group while they were still in college, working two years as a Preconstruction Intern. In this role, they assisted with design coordination, plan review and proposal preparation. Derek also ensured that the design aligned with the intent of the construction contract documents and/or lease, specifications and client’s expectations.

Most recently, Derek spearheaded a high profile project with the City of Indianapolis Parks’ Department in partnership with NBA Indiana Pacers Foundation to build two state-of-the-art outdoor basketball courts. This project consisted of planning, cost forecasting, fee negotiations and full life cycle management of the construction phase.

Derek Foresman has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Purdue University. Derek also has a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Purdue University. Derek is certified in OSHA 30-Hour and OSHA 10-Hour.
